Parks NB presents the "Adventure in Every Direction" Photo Contest

Parks NB invites you to submit a photo in our "Adventure in Every Direction" photo contest!

Share your photo inspirations from your recent NB Provincial ParksƗ adventure for the chance to win* your photo being featured as part of the Visual Art Exhibition program with Fredericton Playhouse art galleries and a Park NB prize pack!

Who can participate? Residents of Canada.

Visit one of our Participating provincial parks†, snap an amazing photo and submit, it's that easy!

Submit a photo during any one of our submission periods:

Winter Submission Period: January 7, 2025 to March 19, 2025 (This includes photos taken as of December 1, 2024)

Spring Submission Period: March 20, 2025 to June 20, 2025

Summer Submission Period: June 21, 2025 to September 21, 2025

Fall Submission Period: September 22, 2025 to November 30, 2025

NOTE: An entrant can submit up to 10 photos during each Submission Period. Photo must be taken after December 1, 2024 and be submitted any time during the Contest Period.

All submitted photo’s will be judged by a selection committee. Two photos from each of our Participating Provincial ParksƗ will be selected as Semi-Finalists. Any photo not selected will roll over to the next submission period and be re-judged. All confirmed Semi-Finalists photos will be judged and 22 photos will be selected as our Finalists! Finalists photos will be showcased in the Parks NB Adventure in Every Direction Photo Exhibit at the Fredericton Playhouse in Fredericton, New Brunswick in July/August 2026.

Sponsor is looking for entrants to submit a Photo or Photos (in color or black and white) which depict “Within a participating New Brunswick Provincial Park what compels you to seek adventure and love for our park” (the “Theme”). Photos must be taken on or after December 1, 2024. The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are the age of majority in their province/territory at the time of entry and are considered an amateur photographer (see Official Rules). Contest closes at 11:59:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on November 30, 2025. There is a limit of ten entries per Submission Period. First Submission Period starts at 9:00:00 a.m. AST on 1/7/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 3/19/2025. Second Submission Period starts at 12:00:00 a.m. AST on 3/20/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 6/20/2025. Third Submission Period starts at 12:00:00 a.m. AST on 6/21/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 9/21/2025. Fourth Submission Period starts at 12:00:00 a.m. AST on 9/22/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 11/30/2025. All eligible entries received during each Submission Period will be judged by a Selection Committee. Semi-finalist selection process: Upon the conclusion of each judging period the two Photos that received the highest overall score for each of the eleven Provincial Parks will be considered as eligible “Semi-Finalists” subject to Semi-Finalist confirmation. Odds of being selected as a Semi-Finalist depend on the quality of the other photos submitted within each Provincial Park. All non-selected eligible entries from each submission period will roll over for the following judging period. Finalist selection process: Judging of the confirmed Semi-Finalists entries for each of the eleven Provincial Parks will commence on or about 2/3/2026 and conclude on or about 2/20/2026. The two Semi-Finalists entries that received the highest overall score within each of the eleven Provincial Parks will be considered as an eligible “Finalists” subject to Finalists confirmation. Odds of being selected as a Finalist are subject to the quality of the other Semi-Finalists photos. A total of twenty-two Prizes are available to be won with two Prizes awarded to each of the two Finalists selected within each of the eleven participating Provincial Park. Each Finalists Prize consists of the selected photo included in Parks New Brunswick photo display showcase which is part of the Visual Art Exhibition program within the Fredericton Playhouse art galleries and a Parks NB prize package which includes one of each item: coffee mug; water bottle; baseball cap; note book with pen; wooden key chain; Parks NB 3” sticker; Canada Flag trees sticker; Parks NB “punch card” which provides the winner with five single entrance fees to Fundy Trail Provincial Park and five single entrance fees to Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park; a 2026 Seasonal Parks Pass and a 5” x 7” Finalists wooden plaque. The Approximate retail value of the Parks NB prize package is $365.00 CAD. The Sponsor is unable to assign a value to the photo’s being displayed at the Fredericton Playhouse.
